b52s Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 I read on a post here that some women/men use Facebook as a means of communicating with prospects. I am not sureif people are familiar with those Facebook events that you can utilize....like send out invitations to someone's house party, and RSVP to it, and then show up to socialize. If you met some man or woman at said party, would you later email heron FB saying, "Hey, it was nice meeting you at the party....<insert whatever here>" and attempt to chat her up? I hear this is quite common, and my friends have done this. Kind of a great way of staying in touch with people after an event.
jerbear Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Yes. I've done it. FB has many interesting features where Meetup, fan pages, etc... can update your status. I've meet interesting prospects that I normally would not meet in my normal circles. It is amazing what your network can do sometimes. You link with A, A links with B and etc... then one day you meet your other half.

Crazy Magnet Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 I've never tried this......if everything else fails though, I'd give it a shot. Where are these meet ups you are talking about? As in, what section on FB?
