You guys think any of are exes are on this forums? I mean most of us here I am assuming are the dumpees, and I have heard from other members that are the dumpers. You guys think, even if they are not members, they read what we have written?

You guys think it makes it worst or better if they did read these posts?

I'm certain - absolutely certain - that there might have been times when exes came on and trawled the forums to find hints and clues about their ex..

(if that's not too confusing!) In fact we even had a couple slanging it out on two different threads, at one point.

Which got interesting, convoluted and quite nasty.

This is why it's important to keep a close rein on anonymity, and make sure your ex can't figure out who you are by looking at your forum name.... and photo avatars are a no-no, in such cases.

A quick glim through the Forum Guidelines (something many folks forget to do, or just tick the box when they register!!) will tell you what is/isn't acceptable, and is/isn't advisable. I recommend a good read, at least once a month.

The responsibility of the poster is to make sure they keep a level head when they post, and not tell lies of mention true names.

They could get into trouble that way.

The bottom line is, if you'd be ashamed or guilty about your ex- reading it - think carefully about posting it in the first place.

It's in the guidelines!!

I might get my knuckles rapped for doing this, because it wasn't the purpose of the alert button, but I have flagged your post and reported it.

I think there is, as far as I am aware, only one currently active Moderator on board, so he is terribly busy keeping a track of things, and staying on top of the job.

It's a hard task, and I think he can't be on here all the time, or even as often as he'd like.

Being a Moderator elsewhere, I know how time consuming it can be, so bear with it.

You may get response soon enough.

I hope I don't get too hard a rap...... :(

Why would you/should you get flagged?
