b52s Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Okay, I am just minding my own business on Facebook...and I get this notice saying "so and so" answered a friends question about you....then I see this. "Do you think <my name> is a liar: No" "Do you think <my name > is cute? "No" "Would you hook up with <my name>? "No" I was like WTF? What are you in middle school? I'm surprised she answered such a question. And I'm hoping it's not displayed for ALL to see. I emailed her telling her what for...but she's ignoring me...oh yeah, she's on my friends list....this was someone I met at a party...and she pulls this infintile crap??
stevejohnson1976 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 FB is the anti-christ for sure. i use it as little as possible.
phineas Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I don't face book random people I meet at parties. I face book people I actually know. Imagine, my facebook friends are really friends. I know in this age where people have upwards of 200 contacts in face book that this is an alien concept but I think in my case it works.
ordinary_girl Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 serves you right for accepting any tom, dick and harry on FB. this is how people talk to eachother, the only difference is now you can actually read it.
DustySaltus Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 FB cost me $40,000...i'd much rather be in your position.
Author b52s Posted December 28, 2009 Author Posted December 28, 2009 FB cost me $40,000...i'd much rather be in your position. Are you serious...or joking....? Seriously??
Yukikazi Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 This is why I have a security group setup for just such unknowns.. They can't see anything about me except my wall until such time they show they can be trusted. Easily removed from the friend list if necessary

They can't see anything about me except my wall until such time they show they can be trusted. Easily removed from the friend list if necessary I'm kind of having a hard time trying tofigure out the security measures on that site, and I've given up on "who sees what" when it comes to that, I think I might just boot 'em.
DustySaltus Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Read my original disaster that brought me here in the first place: $7,000 engagement ring $13,000 in plane tickets & living expenses $20,000 raise at work (declined to leave to be with her only to have to go crawling back a couple of months later). No joke.
Author b52s Posted December 28, 2009 Author Posted December 28, 2009 Well, it's rather slapping me in the face with an opinion that was unsolicated or I didn't need to see. That's kinda like saying, "Ew, I wouldn't date you if you were the last guy on earth" I'm thinking, "Hey, I didn't ask for your opinion, why are you telling me out of the blue??"
