Tell me what you think about this:

I got a message on POF this morning from a guy that I actually thought might have potential after I viewed his profile. I messaged him back thanking him for the message and introduced myself. I just got a message back saying that he had been so drunk the night before he hadn't remembered messaging me, but after viewing my profile he's glad he did, and relieved he didn't have beer goggles on and would like to chat further.

WTF? Who admits that?:lmao:

I have had a lot of weird correspondence lately.

I seriously wonder if there is anyone sane left in the dating pool.

Me <---- Weird, but not that weird.

Maybe he was just trying to be funny?!

No sense of humor at all, huh? I can't believe you were offended by that rather innocent remark (and I'm willing to bet the guy wasn't actually drunk when he messaged you - he was just trying to say something funny to break the ice).

Something tells me that many of the people complaining about weirdos on dating sites come across as weirdos themselves. Weirdos being weirded out by weirdos - such is the nature of online dating.

I don't know, the message had come in about 4am-ish. so I assumed he had been loaded:cool: I just lost interest after the response!

And yes, I know you are one of the good ones!!!

I am quite sure he was serious - and I have a great sense of humour.

I don't know about that....you seem to have that whole "I'm a serious person" vibe to you.

The only guy I really wanted to lay into closed me on eHarmony with the "pursuing another relationship" only to message me on POF within the same week asking if I wanted to meet up.

Delete.

Block.

But I really wanted to call him out on what a creeper he was and how he should pay attention to who he is clicking on.
