I deleted my online dating profile earlier today (I merely disabled it earlier this week). My multi-dating exploits had left me with two guys who I really like(d); I've already made my decision as to which one I'm focusing on, however.

Guy #3 is the one I met for the first time Saturday, in D.C. We talked for several weeks before meeting. I really like him; in fact I was drawn to him from the moment I first saw his profile. He's funny, very sweet and considerate, adventurous, down-to-earth, introspective, close to his family. We're both non-religious and liberal; we have similar outlooks on life and relationships. He's very intelligent and ambitious; he went to a prestigious school for his master's and has a solid job in his field of study. He's 24. On top of all that, he's beyond gorgeous and Pakistani (I've had a slight preference for those guys ever since starting college 4 years ago, must have come from my first big crush on one); he came to the states when he was a teenager so he's got a pretty strong accent (swoon).

The entire time we were together I felt like I was under a spell; it was wonderful. He left me an adorable message on Facebook for me to read when I got back last night, and we talked last night and earlier today. He wants me to come again for New Year's Day, through Saturday, and I'm going to. It's clear he really likes me too. I haven't been analyzing the situation, I'm not worried about it "burning out" or whatever else. I'm just enjoying it for what it is and seeing what happens. If it continues to work out, great; if it doesn't, I move on. Simple as that. I'm pleased that I found someone I really like and who complements me well. :)

Is this an OK Cupid guy?

Yes! I actually had really low expectations for the site, I guess because it's free, but I met several guys on there, including him, who I quite liked. :bunny:

Haha, yes he did! Thanks pandagirl. :bunny: I'm beyond excited to see him again this weekend. In the message he sent he wrote, "I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our time together. You are super cool. And just... wow. :)" And he signed it with a heart (<3). Adorable. :)

He's a sweetie, so far. When we first started getting to know each other, I could tell he was a bit shy about flirting with me because anything flirtatious or clearly showing interest/attraction, he'd write within parentheses, as though they were thoughts in his head that he wasn't sure he should say, but they came out anyway. So cute. And of course the last handful of times we talked he's been much more open with communicating his interest.

Sounds promising to me! Also, he's a braniac, right? Love it.

The jury is out on the guy I'm dating that I met on OKCupid, but hey -- finding someone you're at all interested in is a feat in itself. So, go Cupid!

Yes, he is very smart. And very passionate...On our date yesterday, when we were in the museum, he asked if he could hold my hand--reminded me of my first boyfriend because he'd done that--but it was really cute. When we were on this really long escalator leaving the metro station, he asked, "So what should we do now?" I said, "Why don't you decide?" He said, "Okay. Can I kiss you?" Haha...and so he did. It was the first of many (he's a fabulous kisser). When we were in the cab headed to the bus terminal he had his arm tight around me and I had his kisses in my hair and on my face. He gave me a long kiss goodbye and pressed my hands in both of his right before I boarded my bus. Ahhh...haha...

Oh, he's just the cutest thing. Earlier this afternoon he sent me a text saying, "At work. Thinking of you...". Then when we were talking via IM and he had to say goodnight, he wrote, "Sleep well." I wrote, "You too, gorgeous." He wrote, "YOU are gorgeous. You. Bye-bye..." :D:love: He told me to think of anything in particular I wanted to see or do when I come this weekend since we'll have more time. I can't wait for Friday.

I'm so glad your were able to pick somebody!!! :)

I'm still in the process. Guy #1 is now setting off spidey sense, Guy #2 I don't think gives me enough time/attention....Guy #3...makes me go school girl giddy! :)

Hopefully I'm right behind you in the decision making. :)
