Cinderella7 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Off the top of my head... Integrity Ambition Generosity Sense of humor Intelligence Confidence There also needs to be some level of physical attraction between us. I don't have a physical "type" I go after but I do need to find them physically attractive. I'm sure if I really examined it there would be more, but these are the most important qualities to me right off the top of my head.

aerogurl87 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I want someone who can carry on an intelligent conversation with me, someone who can debate on various subjects with me, someone who is funny and not afraid to laugh at themselves, someone who can own up to their faults and isn't afraid to say they aren't perfect, someone who is confident and comfortable within their own skin, someone who accepts me for who I am without trying to change me, someone who shows empathy for others, and someone who is true to themselves and not fake.
Awesome Username Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I love guys that know how to work a group of people. "Hey, a bunch of people and I are gonna go hang out at a doughnut shop. Wanna come?" I love when a guy is confident enough to make plans, and likable enough to work a group of people into doing something. It takes stress off my shoulders.

PinkToes Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Good heart. Good brain. Good sense of humor. Other traits come & go, but those remain.
thegreatmoose Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Good heart. Good brain. Good sense of humor. Other traits come & go, but those remain. Just three? I have a chance.
PinkToes Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Just three? I have a chance. Yup; I'm just that easy. Oh, and I'm a total sucker for a clean-shaven face. Still in the running?
thegreatmoose Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Yup; I'm just that easy. Oh, and I'm a total sucker for a clean-shaven face. Still in the running? Yep, I'm most definitely clean shaven. That's 4/4 isn't it?
yah Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Companionship, compatibility, security... what a woman looks for depends on what stage she is at in life. for me, i am looking to settle down. therefore, i am looking for someone family-oriented, respectful, surrounds themselves with good friends that are in the same place in life as me/him, educated, financially secured (i may want to have kids and stay home one day so this may be important in the future), ambitious, etc. basically drama-free. i am also young (mid-20s) so while im looking for someone to stay in to watch movies on the couch, i also want someone who enjoys going out on fri/sat nights to bars and a night out on the town, plays sports and video games with me, etc.
cognac Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Ha ha ha, funny. Reading these traits sounds almost like my biography. If only those were the only thing women desire.
Author scenester Posted December 28, 2009 Author Posted December 28, 2009 Ha ha ha, funny. Reading these traits sounds almost like my biography. If only those were the only thing women desire. Well, what do women desire, personally?
C-i-C-u Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 well, what do women desire, personally? dramaaaaaa
Mahatma Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I am a male with a girlfriend, but I will still answer your question. Confidence. That's it. As long as you are confident in yourself, the women will flock to you.
aerogurl87 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 dramaaaaaa Umm I'm a woman and I don't desire drama in my relationship with my boyfriend, although my boyfriend and I do have fun laughing and discussing the drama my friends all seem to have in their relationships. Now I just count myself as lucky because I'm no longer involved in such a headache of a love roller coaster.
Author scenester Posted December 28, 2009 Author Posted December 28, 2009 I have confidence. Conversation tends to get boring quickly though. Guess I have to work on making early exits.

jw90063 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Don't say I want a jerk who treats me like ****. Be descriptive. Which qualities/characteristics do you like to see in a guy? Post away... Mahatma Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I have confidence. Conversation tends to get boring quickly though. Guess I have to work on making early exits. Oh, so you wanna get deeper then. It is all about not giving too much at first. Don't just give yourself up to the next beautiful girl. It is not about treating women like crap, it is about not treating yourself like crap. Always remember you are more valuable than some person you just met. As the relationship progresses, the other person becomes more valuable. At the point in my current relationship, I would do just about anything for my girlfriend. You may have confidence, but you probably display a low self worth compared to the women you are chasing. If you deny this, please re-think. You are coming to a forum asking what women want.
