tkgirl Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 OMG THIS CHICK ACTUALLY SHOWED UP AT MY DINNER....she's a psycho. I acted all cold towards her and asked if she signed up for it. She said "um, yea i think so....". I know she hadn't signed up cause i checked the sign up list before i left. She's a nut case. Luckily she just hit the bathroom and then left and didn't stay. Probably cause i treated her like dirt. I asked her why she had shown up and she said nothing. She's crazy man. makes me almost sad for her... almost! hopefully now that she seen you and add the fact that you were so cold to her, maybe she'll leave you alone? oh wait, I forgot... girls like jerks so now you're in for it! better start being a (beta) nice guy so she'll get sick of you and bail...

She isn't going to go away by ignoring her.. that is what is fueling it.. well that and your half baked attempt that someone sane would've gotten the hint from but not her..

Well.. if you look at the points tat things have escalated they escalted each time he ignored her.. I think the problem is that he didn't make himself clear.. you know the kinda clear that needs to be heard.. She obviously is messed up in the head but he has been ignoring her or hiding behind a text message and has never told her off and laid that she never contact him again.. If I'm not mistaken if he wants to get a TRO they will ask him if he told her to never contact him again. The J.. keystroke error.. I guess...

I'm sure of it. ok... I'm not one of those people that have to be right... but I usually am! it just seemed like when he was ignoring her, that's she went two whole days without contacting him... BUT when he sent her that text is when she decided to call again. I'm not saying she won't contact him again even if he completely ignores her from here on out... I just think the times she does contact him will be fewer and farther between until she eventually gets tired and leaves him alone all together. I have been in the same situation and that is what worked for me. So... that's my advice... he can take it or leave it and it's no matter to me. i.e. I will still sleep tonight!

YOU HAVE TO ACT FAST ON THIS ONE! 1) Keep a cell phone on you at all times - not in a bag or in the car, keep it on your person in a pocket at all times. 2) Say no once, only once, and then walk away. Tell her that you are going to call the police if you ever see her again in a public place where you are. That should be enough of a warning to anyone. 3) If she still doesn't think you are serious once you have said that you will call the police, CALL THEM. Maybe she'll flee, maybe not, but make the police come out and give her the business. Even the craziest of people will acknowledge the presence of the police. This happened to me once when a creep showed up at my apartment in the middle of the night. He straitened up once I let it known that he came within seconds of being thrown in the slammer for his craziness.

You've been cold. If she contacts you again, maintain that and clearly direct her to not contact you further. If she persists, then block her number. If you get calls from her from other numbers, then you know you have a real problem and need to change your number and/or involve authorities. Personally, I'd change the number simply because the authorities won't be effective with a nut case, short of a 72 hour psych hold. Then out and back to the old ways. I hope you won't take this personally. She might be mentally ill, meaning a physical brain disease. Hard to know. I've had some experiences with bi-polar friends who literally become different people during the manic phase, and normal social inhibitions and their customary mannerisms and manners disappear. It's like they literally become someone else, and it's not pleasant. Let's hope this is merely a misguided and zealous young lady who truly means no offense.

Actually Cold Carl if you know anything about Stalkers the police will tell you that you need to tell them firmly to go away and not contact you any further and then ignore them as then the attention fuels them.. Alpha has yet to firmly tell her to leave him alone..

That's only going to make her want him more, and become more stalkerish. If he had just called/text her immediately with a logical reasoning and set things straight, I believe there would have been a far better chance of her backing off. Of course, if she is majorly psycho, maybe it will take way more than that...
