I believe personality is very very important, but I also know there has to be physical attraction. I don't think I've ever had a guy tell me that looks are that low on their importance meter.

He said as long as I had a good personality it didn't matter. Love was built around personality. He said good looks don't make love happen.

You look gorgeous in your pics so of course he "doesn't care about looks" translation: he is not worried about that with you, you passed the test. Guys used to tell me that all the time online, like "you could look like a 300 beast when you show up and I'd still think you are fantastic" that was AFTER they saw that I looked the furthest from that. He is trying to trigger your "chick" emotional response.
