b52s Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 Well, this came as a shocker to some of us. I was invited to a wedding by a nice couple that hosted events at their abode. Some of us became close with this couple....and later I was invited to their wedding. All of a sudden, the wedding was canceled.....hadn't really heard any updates on their Facebook (yes....believe it or not FB is a great way to keep on top of your friends lives, lol) Then, Christmas Eve, I come to find out that her fiance' screwed her drained her financially. It almost felt as if WE were screwed as well. I bet if someone was near the guy, they'd have something to say to him.. That being said, if someone you THOUGHT was a "nice guy" screwed over a friend of yours in such a manner, what would you do? Esp, if you somehow felt affected by your friends situation....in a sense. It was like she was dating a con-artist this whole time! What killed me was, he had us ALL convinced that he was INTO her.
TaraMaiden Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 I think she just needs all the moral support her good friends can give her, maybe chip all in to help her a little, financially, as a gesture of faith and goodwill, and reassure her that no, not all guys are like that....

Actually, someone bought her a house....I guess that's good for starters, right?
