Art_Critic Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 I met my wife on Match.com.. We now have a son that is almost 2.. I did it for years.. had many semi successful relationships from it and some of those even last over a year or so... It's all what you make it.. If you are serious about putting yourself out there and you create an honest profile with no BS and good pictures and show your humorous side you will meet women..
stevejohnson1976 Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Some great posts here. I am thinking that overall it's worth a shot even if it proves fruitless, it's better to have tried, right? seriously, what s the worst that can happen? the only thing I suggest is to not be so quick to meet someone. Filter them out, ask them questions, be FUNNY, show yourself..... Its unbelievable how many 'interests' I get a day from that site. Its very flattering.
tkgirl Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 I am thinking of signing up, but as a 20-something male i am interested in other peoples experiences of match.com? Was it generally good? If you can keep an open mind, then I think it can work for some people... but not me! When I tried the online thing (match) 2+ years ago I had no idea what to expect and at first it was pretty fun. Unfortunately... or fortunately depending on my mood I ended up falling hard for one of the guys but it just didn't work out.. but not after both of us kicked it around some! (long story) I know the same thing could have happened had I met him "in real life" but after this I pretty much refuse to go back online again.
