lemonlegs Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 I called him to bitch about something he or his ****ing bitch of an ex did, and that led into me not being a good girlfriend because I didn't spend insane amounts of money on him, among other things, and he randomly decided to tell me then that our problems weren't fixable. But then it went on from there, that wasn't the last "break up" we had.

He was acting weird for a few days before, but not good weird like I have a nice birthday surprise for you but weird like I'm not coming home for hours after work and I'm doing a lot of weird whispering on the phone stuff. The day my birthday came, he said happy birthday when we woke up, we did the dirty deed and then he got up and turned on the TV to watch football. The thing is that the year before we got into a wicked fight because he didn't do anything or get me anything for my 37th birthday. He felt really bad and ran out to get me a bunch of stuff that night and apologized profusely saying he didn’t realize that it was so important to me. Needless to say he knew that it would upset me if he ignored another one of my birthdays. He was acting like a d*&k that entire day, when I confronted him and said “you purposely chose to screw up another one of my birthdays” he said "What the hell do you want? I let you touch my d*&k". I knew right there it was over. I asked him if this was it and he said no and that I'm being paranoid and I should know that he had a football game to watch. I asked him if he was seeing someone behind my back and he called me crazy. I grabbed his cell and looked at his text messages and saw a message he wrote to his brother two days before saying "the life of a 22 year old girl is so much different than mine I don't think I can do this anymore. I changed my mind." I showed him the message and he denied everything and said it was a joke and he doesn't know any 22 year old girls. Tried to say it was an inside joke, a movie quote. He said nothing is going on except for the fact that he doesn’t love me anymore and I should start looking for a new apartment. We split up, moved our separate ways and he started dating his nonexistent, trashy 22 year old girl. From what I hear she dumped him a few months later.

I asked the proverbial question of why and he said that we just weren't getting along and that his new fiancee' and he "clicked perfectly." As of last week, he dumped her, called me to beg for another chance the next day and after not agreeing to that...he reconciles with the fiancee'. Yea...dumb.
nobmagnet Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 sweet justice cake! he left me in feb. he came back with promices he wants to make it work.........it lasted oooh 2 months. he is secretive wouldnt let his phone alone or his computer unlocked. HELLO! anyhoo he got upat 6am one sunday. I knew summot was wrong but waited till he was distacted. he forget(or did it on purpose) to shut and block computer. He had been f*cking another woman. Work associate. I confronted him. He said "so what" I told him to go. He did and is happy for now. I am left to bring up 3 kids alone, sell our home, support my kids ect. hey what??? i am happier than i have been in many many years. Kids are happy Mum is happy We dont miss him at all. He did me a favour and himself. I will be happy.............his bit of fluff wont last. win win sorry but its true xx

I have no idea. I would/could never and have gone through almost 40 years and unfortuantly numerous break ups but have NEVER contemplated cheeting! I have a massive sign on me that says "hello, i am unavailable" i will continue my life with the same sign if i am commited. cheeters.............hey they deseve eachother

curiousnycgirl Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Iled into me not being a good girlfriend because I didn't spend insane amounts of money on him, Ok this made my jaw drop and then I actually laughed. ex chose to enter the "entreprenurial stage of his life" (quotes are there because that is what he says when people ask what he does) when he lost his job 5 years ago. Translation he hasn't earned any money in 5 years, so I paid for everything we did together. My relationship ended because my ex felt I was emasculating him every time I opened my wallet. OMG and WTF?!

He and his wife lived in London and they had a two year old girl. His wife originally came from the country and wished to move back there, so he went and found the house she lived in as a little girl and bought it. Cost him a fortune but was a fantastic gesture. She dumped him on the day they moved in. He went outside to tip the removal men, walked back into the house and she handed him the box with his clothes in it. Also, just to show men can be equally brutal. Another friend of mine got his girlfriend of 9 years pregnant. Six months later she had small car crash and lost the baby, he dumped her the very next day.

He wasn't paying all that attention to me, but I figured we were just in a comfort spot with each other to not have to swoon 24/7. I told him how I wanted more affection with him. Fast forward after some talking, he says he's not good for me.. I deserve better. He can't give me what I want. So, I broke it off with him, but changed my mind a day later... he stuck to it. Sucks.

I thought things were going well and all of a sudden he wanted a break. He didn't tell me why. Lasted a week then he wanted me back. (I took him back so I could dump him but I was too coward but I knew our last kiss I knew it was the end but didnt want a reputation if I dumped him so I let him do it when ever he wanted. It didnt upset me in the slightest i was relieved actually but anway.) He didn't text for a whole week and all of a sudden he wanted to have another break but not be girlfriend and boyfriend anymore. That was fair enough he said things wern't working out and basically I couldn't put out for him as he wasn't willing to wait! I broke it off with him offically and not be friends anymore after breaking up but the said guy wanted me to go out with not just one but two of his friends that I didn't know or have never met! how childish! we never stayed in contact since. He has since had a girlfriend a good bit younger than him and they were going out with each other a year and she became pregnant. No sooner had she been pregnant six months did their relationship end! She is now left holding the baby and he has walked out and living the single life! i didn't trust him when I first met him and I feel sorry I ever went out with him.

She called me that Saturday night telling me how sorry she was for questioning us and how much she loved me and wanted to be with me. She asked if I would take her back and I said yes and all seemed good. The next day we spoke a few times, she told me she loved me and couldn't wait to see me. We sadi goodnight as usual. The next day there were no phone calls or texts until late into the evening. She texted me "I can't do this, I can't be with you." I tried to call her but she didn't answer. I tried to text but she told me to leave her alone. She couldnt tell me why she broke it off other than I wasn't the right guy for her. So a damn text message is how I got dumped.
almostpassedit Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 my relationship was doomed from the start. my ex started to act funny and i noticed but wrote it off and it came to light she was cheating for the past 8 months or so. Her best friend told me. I initated the breakup and went back for her, eventually she told me to fawk off. what i realize now is that the ex wanted out and didn't know how to say it so she just wanted me to end it, but i just thought she was asking funny. i guess she must of realized that i wouldn't leave so she told me to **** off. this is after me cursing her out, her begging for a week, after i threw her out, fired her and called her a whore on mutiple occasions. she finally left. nc 2 years.

(with him being distant and indecisive) and I left the room, later on he said to me "it's best if I go then."
