novack Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Hi Y'all Alright same story: 2 years gf meant alot to me cheated, bs and she has a new bf..life sucks right...not I'm out almost 4 months, i thought i was doing better but i hit a 2 week stage, dreams came back no eating and it was all unprovoked! I read on various websites and on LS about the individual power to control there feelings/thoughts etc. I read this information yet didn't really realize its power!! Think about it like this. You feel like s hit, your imagining about your ex, how great how bad, what there up to, do they miss you etc..... does thinking this help you, NO! But you THINK you can't help it (or at least i did) You can stop the pain! When they pop in your head just take a quick moment with it but don't linger move on, think of something else Think "i cant change whats already happened so whats the point of thinking so negatively" Laugh about it! its funny almost that your dwelling on something you no longer can control, move on think of something that makes you happy! Put on party in the usa by miley cirus if thats what it takes...just do something!!! Its all about moving on, but we don't really register what that means! Its about thinking about your ex, and moving on to something else, there are 100000000 things more relevant to think about! I know its almost impossible to do this when the break up is very fresh but after a little no contact you kinda forget who they are, you cant really associate with them except of those memories upstairs! I feel great this week, and who knows how long it will last but i know a way to escape that hopeless thinking! Positive thoughts will get you through the darkness Good luck everyone you have the power!
