So what to do in a blizzard, while single? Been online, watching movies, cooked, about to crochet in a minute!

Thing is I could have a "snowman", but I didn't want to be stuck at his place. My X has been calling throughout the day, but he's working and I don't want to open up that can of worms...

I'll go build my own snowman...

I was planning on going to see " Avatar" but that busted because I'm cold even in my heat warmed apartment, so I can only imagine actually being outside.

You can't make play dates in a blizzard, unless you actually host, and they're that excited about driving in snow.

I find a nice glass of red wine goes with a blizzard very well. You can also plan what you want to do in January with your friends (when there is no blizzard).

You can also think about what changes you want to make in your life, whether you should widen your circle of friends or whether you should finally make the effort and take up that particular hobby you have been thinking about for a while.

You can also plan to do something very different from your usual activities and enable yourself to meet people that put you outside your comfort zone.

Yeah, it's true. People don't all like driving in the messy stuff.

AVATAR should be a good flick that I plan to see before 2011 at least!

The blizzard you're in luvflower, forces people to be still sometime...Try to look at it that way and perhaps you will connect with someone/some people before long. Otherwise, make hot cocoa and stay snug w/a good book, movie, crossword puzzle, tetris, snack, private listening party, etc...

No one around to interrupt your "chill time";)

Pretty good advice guys...

Ordinary Girl, that's a very introspective and productive way to go about it! Thanks.

Hot apple cider or cocoa are right up there with it though.;)

Or you could be like me and browse LS. The stories are too delicious to resist.

I went for a walk in the snow to get some juice, and I waited in line with all of these couples making out :(

It's still pretty out. I cannot wait till tomorrow, I will go take lots of pics of the after effects on my SLR.

Blizzards make for prime reloading time.

I love to watch the snow fly past my window as I crank out ammunition. Life dosent get any better! :)

Turn down the heat, turn off the lights and the TV and radio, and sit there and think of what your life has become while the cold wind blows outside.

lol...i know what you mean. it's as if couples want to rub it in everyone's face that they have someone...truthfully, i know how they feel. even if some of them are together only for this snowstorm, they are just HAPPY. that's understandable...but they could chill out a lil' bit while they're in the stores and all, dang...lol.

it really is gorgeous outside though! the sunset was truly a site! the light reflecting from the snow onto everything else...illuminating the night...

ahhh...:)
