delnoire Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Ladies, I have a question. Do girls generally know what their girlfriends (girls that happen to be friends) smell like? I mean, is it pretty common to remember what kind of perfume or whatever, your girlfriends wear, or is that something a girl would only know, if she has been intimate with the girl. The reason I ask, is because when I was looking at one of my female friends facebook, she posted on her wall that something stinks. Then one of her friends, who happens also to be my ex girlfriend posted in response that 'Its not me.' Just as a joke I guess. So in response to that, my female friend posted "I know. You smell good. You smell like pumpkin." And that was the end of the exchange on her facebook wall. So I was wondering how my female friend would know my ex smells like pumpkin. I know they hang out together, and my ex is very bisexual. I don't know whether my female friend is bi though. I know guys don't really know or remember what their guy friends smell like, so I'm sort of out of my element here. So ladies, straight or bi, do you know what your girlfriends smell like or is it something more intimate to know that?
Kiowa Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 It does not require a sexual relationship to know what one's perfume smells like. I have had many a person comment on my perfume or lotion and we were not having sexual relations. Merely walking past each other.

Girls tend to hang out and do "whatever" together (not necessarily sexual) because they are that comfortable with each other. That's the type of relationships that gfs have. They get dressed in front of each other, lay in bed together...etc. Would you have liked them to hook up? You missed out if they have considering she's your ex gf.

Just one of those things that you read and then start thinking about and the more you think about it, the more your imagination takes over. So I just wanted some other feedback, particularly other girls, as they would know more than us guys. thats all.
