Is it possible for a guy to trip up and say mean things to u on accident because he was too nervous also while having his friends near by? or am I just kidding myself and this guy doesn't like me? He had been showing huge interest the past few weeks and then suddenly stopped and kind of ignored me.. :( then the last day of school i finally got the courage to talk to him and he was saying mean things, and also have a feeling he was jealous of me being with a male friend all the time, but thats only because my friend was helping me with the guy I like...:(

I did also sort of ask if he liked me and he gave me a quick glance with a small smile and he was whispering saying "I don't know..."

Well he was being a little sqeamish and smiling and looking back and forth at his best friend while i was sort of talking to him, then they were exchanging glances/smiles and he got up and said he's going to the bathroom..kind of like giving them a heads up that he wants to talk then him and a few friends went out together...then another one of his friends comes into the room and asks where'd they all go? so he calls them and then he looked like he had to go and find out about some big news, then another one of his female friends was standing there and kept asking whats going on.....I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing???

Did you want to hold on to false hope, or did you want the truth? I can lie to you if you want.

This is just confusing.

If you think he may have been jealous of your male friend, that could explain his unfriendly behavior.

That is all I can gather from the little information given.

No....if it comes out of his mouth, it existed in his head.

Yeah, but sometimes people are silly enough to say things they don't really mean while around others. They are too concerned with what others think.

There was this one girl, who was just talking and talking. I was in my car... she was just talking and talking and all I was thinking about was how good my burger was.

She said, "Ya i need to workout, i look like I just had 6 kids!"

I said: "Yes you do!"

she said "What! you agree?"

WHy did I say it? Because I wanted to.

This reminded me of that scene in the movie Grease, where Sandy and Danny meet in school for the first time after their great summer fling. They see each other for the first time at school and Danny is with all his heavy friends, and of course he has to act cool and totally disses Sandy in front of them. She leaves devastated and Danny keeps up the front for his friends, but you can tell it is eating away at him inside.

Guys in high school do the weirdest things to act cool in front of their friends. They have such fragile self esteems/egos that all it takes is for one friend he looks up to to make one stupid comment for him to lose interest in a girl he likes. High school crushes are all about what others think, not so much what you want. Sadly, if he does really like you he is too stupid to act on it.

GREASE!

Grease is the word, is the word, that you heard, it's got a groove it's got a meaning!

....

They think our love is a growing just a growing fame

Why don't they understand it's just a crying shame

The lips are lying, only real is real

we start believing now, then we can be who we feel

GREASE!

GREASE!

Is the time, is the place is the motion! Grease is the way we are feeling!

I love this song.

Ouch, your observation confirmed something that just happened with my now ex. His friend said something derogatory about me, and not only did my ex not say anything to his friend (other than "I should hit for you that," said in a joking manner), he actually was more concerned about me getting upset with his friend instead of the nature of the comment! Then he told me the friend always says mean things, and that I should just accept it was his nature, and maybe I should get a sense of humor and learn to joke with his friend instead of being angry. Yeah, that was definitely the ultimate sign we weren't going to last.
