Women with degrees are more likely to walk. Perhaps he is a gambling man. :D

You ask me this question and give me two choices, one of which implies I assume something? Thanks for the closed ended question.

It's neither.

I like a girl that wants a lot out of life. A girl who's pursuing an education matches this more than a girl who doesn't want to be bothered with class, books and studies.

I wouldn't date a stripper or a nyone who has done porn.

I couldn't handle that either

Does anyone under the age of 70 actually get hired to do this job?

Anywhere i've been that had an attendant the man was old.

Real old.

Yeah they come in all ages

Musicians. I find them one dimensional sometimes with an conceited personality. I used to know a 19 year old with a decent music background ( he said he was a vocalist/guitarist/writer) but when it came right down to it, he talked more ( bull****) than he actually sang or played the guitar.

Yeah Musician is like one step up from street bum who can't play music... that is unless your famous... notice I said unless your famous instead of good...

I won't date any girl that is working at a dead end job (restaurant, retail, customer service, w/e). I care more about whether or not she's in school, or already finished with school.

The exception is if she is working that dead end job while she's in school. If that's the case, great, if not - cya.

Maybe it's just where I'm at in life, but that's my standard.

I agree with what you've said but I can think of more exceptions to that rule then you listed

Nurses. As a profession I find it admirable and am not talking about the job itself , but any nurse I've dated in the past was usually crazy. There seems to be a high correlation.

You might just be onto something with nurse thing haha, what about Dental Hygenist are they sane? lol. although I only dated one nurse so I can hardly concur, but the one I date was a little cooky though a nice person

I actually worked as a bathroom attendant for one day (Royal Flush Inc. was the name) LOL. What an awful, awful job. But I was in college and needed some extra dough and I did it. Now if I was doing it full time, that's a different story.

I won't judge a book by its cover but I do have concerns dating strippers, traffic cops and anyone in the food service industry:rolleyes:

Isn't there a statistic that most people in the food service industry have herpes.... ah thats gross can't be true.

I'[m very glad to hear it was only one day that you turned faucets on for men end helped them wash their hands after smelling their farts and pee. I myself was a bus boy for a short time in my life but never had meant it to be a long term job. I wouldn't expect girls or my family or anyone to be impressed if I had made it my career. And I don't mean to put people who work lowly jobs down but its just common sense that a bad job is unatractive in the dating world

I didn't ignore it...

I quoted what had been written.. you must have edited and added some after I hit quote and before I hit submit...

dick !

haha touche

meh. my gf started as a ice cream girl when i met her. she got a great job. hooked up with a dude at said job.

then dumped me. so idk about this "great job" thing...

Ouch, but this thread isn't about great jobs, its about bad jobs... so would u date a girl who did gang bang porn... or a woman who worked in a chicken proccesing plant...

She probably would have left you even if she had stayed in ice cream, just wasn't meant to be you'll find a girl for you and who knows she may already have a great job this time.

Nope, otherwise it would say I edited it. You posted that 8 minutes after I did.

Just admit you have selective reading.

Well the world will never know

I've noticed that it doesn't always say edited if you change it soon enough.

The 8 minutes thing is a good point but he may have quoted you and then got distracted or what ever causing a time gap between when he hit quote and when he posted but still having hit quote before it edited.

In his quote it doesnt have the added text so he is either right, or it some how got deleted out which can be done....

AND she's cool is what I said. You're telling me if a really attractive and cool girl were into you but she worked in a restaurant you wouldn't date her? Yeah right.

Yeah, what's the matter with this....most of your hot chicks work at places like TGI Fridays, Chilis, Bennegins, etc....even seen a few choice 30'somethings (around my age bracket) working there that werne't too shabby lookin themselves. ;)

However, considering that even THESE jobs are competitive due to recent lay offs of profssionals, I know people who are former profesionals trying to get jobs at Targets and other Dept stores as well as restaurants, who can't get hired. yike!!!!

I'm just going to say any job is better than no job. I think if you work and bring an honest days pay home at whatever job, your better than every single lazy SOB that collects a welfare or unemployment check. I know this sounds a little off topic, but in my town about 70% of the women are unemployed, and a lot of the ones I speak to believe that service jobs (waitress, janitorial, etc.) are "below them". Bunch of crap in my opinion.

I do understand what you mean by you want someone who wants more out of life than just busing tables. But you know what? My job doesn't define me, I'm more than just what I do for a living. If I can support myself who cares how I do it. So I will never hold a job against someone. Especially in this day and age.

BTW, I work in a Wastewater Treatment Plant, sounds gross but it's a job that will always be in demand.
