jbear Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Basically it's like this; I dumped this guy over 9 months ago because he didn't treated me the way I deserved to be treated. We have gone out for a year and a half, our first long-term serious relationship. Anyways... He was very hurt, then he decided that I was his arch nemesis, and has succeeded in making me cry, feel like crap, etc. 3 months ago on my final attempt to try and be on friendly terms with him, he admitted that he still found me attractive and I knew what he wanted... So I decided to tell him to never contact me again. He got mad but I didn't cared. I just wanted to move on and not get hurt by him ever again. A month into NC, he sent me an apology text, which I ignored. Then 2 months later (around this month earlier or so) and my brother told me that he found out that my ex is going around talking crap about, get this, my MOM! He was all, "Oh, she's a crazy b*tch! I can't believe she never liked me!" and yeah, my mom was not too crazy about me and him dating, but he didn't really had to go that low, you know? :S I don't understand why he's still bitter... Supposedly he "doesn't want me back ever again" in the beginning, but now that I'm really gone from his life... here he is still bitter and pathetic. What's going on with him? The best way to stop him getting to you, is to stop caring about him, what he says, what he does and what his motives are. Who cares? You're not together any more! Move on! He's not important. At least, he's as important as you make him, and if he is the crazy, mixed-up self-centred individual you say he is (and he certainly sounds like it) then paying him attention just feeds his stupidity, and he'll go on behaving like this, as long as he knows it's getting to you. So - Ignore him. he is of no consequence. Spend your time finding someone who's worth your attention.
