confussed101 Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 we have only been married 1 1/2 years and im sick we had to move 7 hundred miles away from our families because of my husbands job..when we got married i knew we were gonna have to move but didnt know where well im 7 hundred miles from home in a town where i know nobody-cant work anyways picked up glambling for entertainment and my husband has gotten us into alot of debt in less than a years time only been in our new town 9 months he is the money maker and makes the final desions so my part in it is yes i helped him spend the moneyso since all of this i have been in the hospital 4 times i have health problems but i believe this last trip was from stress anyway our relationship has just went by the waste side im home sick i miss my 2 year old granddaughter,son and my parents our in by health and im torn between staying here and working this out with my husband (which he's not ready to quit gambling) or leave him..plus he has 15 thousand dollars coming in Jan and he says he's gonna pay some of the debt off but then i feel where"s mine im messed up too.I just have no-one to ask about this because i know my husband is not gonna like if i take part of the money and leave im scared to be frank any one have any experience please help.....
whichwayisup Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 I hope your illness isn't too serious.. Talk to your husband about how you feel. Just be honest and go from there. The gambling IS a problem and is only going to get worse if he doesn't get help for that.
