TooShyToSayHi Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Ok, I know I'm hopeless at the dating thing. Haven't been on a date for more than 3 years. So I'm sure my question is stupid. It follows from a previous post of mine wondering if a guy was interested. We met on Sunday night, talked for a long time, he asked for my number, I gave it to him. It's now Tuesday night. Nothing. No call. I would think if someone was interested they could find a few minutes to call. Is it time to give up or too soon? We're both guys if that matters.
alphamale Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Is it time to give up or too soon? no, give him a max of a week. so if he hasn't called by next sunday then you can write him off.
Pyro Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 I personally would have called by now.....if I was truly interested. Keep your options open.
Author TooShyToSayHi Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 Thank you both for the reply. We're both going to be at an event on Friday - so I figured he would call before then if was interested in something other than friends. If he hasn't called by the end of tomorrow, I guess his interest was all in my head.

Here is the number one rule a girl has to do when giving a guy her number: make sure to set a time and date for another chance meeting. If you don't the guy probably won't call 9 our of 10 times usually cause to guys this is their way of saying "I'm not into you"... if the guy really liked you he would of gotten back to you days ago... Also if a guy decides to not only get your number but gives you his, he most certainly wants to keep in touch and hangout again.
Author TooShyToSayHi Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 Actually, I did. I asked if he was going to be at an event this coming Friday. He said he would be, and I said I would be looking forward to seeing him.
