hotstuffgirl Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 So, I've been Seeing this guy for about a month now. The first night we hung out we had sex. (I've known him for 5 years from college, graduate school) but we've never really hung out outside of school. He texts all the time, calls when he can, and always invites me places. Is he doing this all for JUST the sex, or do you think there's something there? He always says nice compliments, etc. I just can't tell if he's genuine. Also, is it too soon to ask if he's sleeping with others? (more for safety rather than exclusivity)
CarrieT Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Don't have sex with him for the next three or four dates and see if he still texts and offers compliments. Then you will know.
alphamale Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Also, is it too soon to ask if he's sleeping with others? (more for safety rather than exclusivity) no, you can ask him that
Author hotstuffgirl Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 thanks to the both of you!
on1wheel Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Not too soon to ask. If he's been having sex with you for a month, then I would not be offended if someone asked me. As for "is it just for sex", depends on the guy. Some guys only want sex & some want a relationship...trick is to find out which he is. Sadly, only you can find this out. What is it you're looking for BTW?
Author hotstuffgirl Posted December 17, 2009 Author Posted December 17, 2009 well, thats a tricky question becuase i think i dont know yet. i just came out off a relationship about 3 months ago and started seeing this guy a month ago. keep in mind he's also going to be going to get a phd come september. so, even if we started 'dating' things would get tricky if he moved for school again. but he's 27, im 25, maybe i could go with him and work there? or nearby? i can't let his school plans affect us now, i know that, but, i dont know!
