shauncytheboom Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I am finally over my ex girlfriend and dating again. It feels like I am back in high school or something. Anyways I have been out with this new girl 3 times (I guess technically 2 dates) and one where we ran into each other and had a nice time by chance. She has been to my place a couple times and has now invited me for supper and a movie at her place for tomorrow night. I still haven't tried to kiss her or really made any "move" as it were, and I am not sure of how to go about it. It seems I have been in a relationship so long that I forgot about all of the awkward unknown-ness that comes with getting to know someone. Anyways she is a great person and I am interested in her but I don't want to come on too strong and at the same time I want her to know I am interested. Would it be failure on my part to not try to initiate a kiss of some sort on this our "third" date? Or do I just let things fall where they may and give her time to make her mind up about me? She is really shy and kind of awkward (which I find really cute) and we were complete strangers when this started out so we have no history together, so I am wondering if I should just let her come to me? Or do I risk becoming just a friend? A little more background... I never asked her out the first time.... I gave her my number and just said that if she was cool with it and felt like hanging out to give me a call. It took about two weeks before she called but she ended up asking me out. I don't think there can be much confusion here.... if she wasn't interested in me she would be withdrawing at this point... right?? Thanks for your help on this, Shauncy
