He loves me... but I can't seem to restart the flame. How can I ease his reluctance?

My Ex and I had been going out for three years. We were having some very difficult times, mostly because I was very sick and stressed out. I have diabetes and was experiencing a great deal of complications which I wouldn't admit to my boyfriend because I didn't want to worry him.

 

We had been living together for about a year and a half and I felt like I was doing the bulk of the housework and cooking, etc. I became extremely bitter and nearly impossible to make happy. Finally he ended the relationship and I had to move out.

 

After about two months of no contact, we starting talking and going out ot lunch. The relationship has progressed to where we are nearly a couple, but he still has a difficult time trusting that I am healthy and won't yell at him again or become depressed or sad.

 

He also refuses to see me for dinner because he says it's too diffucult not to have me home at night and he doesn't like to say good-bye when I should be with him. I am having a very difficult time being as patient as he expects me to be. When he leaves my place we hug and nearly cry for at least five minutes. He kiss eachother on the cheek and he leaves.

 

How can I make this move to the next level without showing neediness or puchiness? I have talked to him about it, and he just won't budge. I am beginning to lose hope.

Hi! Just be happy, let time do its work. Take it as follows ....when a relationship begins you are in that stage

 

where you enjoy the small things, do the same. Dont think about the past, it is gone, right now you have a

 

very good friend who could become your lover again. But let time do its work, make yourself happy and this

 

will be transmitted to him too and if you guys have to hook up you will. Otherwise you will attract others.
