I feel like a big butt-hole, but I figure I'll share my story to hopefully save you from feeling the same way.

I haven't been on here in a while. I was doing soooo well in keeping NC. Then came the moment of weakness. I texted him for something STUPID. He responded almost immediately. He chatted me up and charmed himself right back in. "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone", "you were right" and talk of the future and other niceties that I, of course readily fell for. Idiot. Then, it turns to "well, I'm still as confused as I was then" " I just don't know if I am ready for what you want" (Which btw, no talk of the future came out of MY MOUTH- it was HIM!!!!!) And then the text. Yep, a text. Five years of this bs and I get this text "this is stale and suffocating. I'm moving forward and u should 2. Please no call or texts. I won't respond."

To save myself further humiliation, I'll spare you the content of the FIVE texts I sent him. (They all basically said you don't need to end it like this- whatever- he can eat a d*ck and hopefully choke on it) Now, he's MIA again. So, ladies, gentlemen, save yourself the trouble. I would feel better today if I had won the powerball and watched the ticket fall into a shredder.

Other than that, winter sucks, it's cold, and every time I hear Josh Groban's smarmy a*s on the radio I want to throw myself off of a bridge.

Hope you're better at listening to advice than I am!!! Have a great day.

xoxo Debbie Downer

Sorry it went down like that, I was the CP in the relationship, I so wish she would text me so I could have the chance your ex just mucked up again.

But its not going to happen, and im moving on day by day.

Feel better *hug*

That's interesting and kind of comforting to hear. The CP sometimes wishes the ex would call? Good to know. What happened with you and why can't YOU do the calling?? :)

Oh god! After not speaking to my LD commitment-phobe ex for over a month, I finally grilled him over the phone. I spoke to him as a "friend" just so I can get the truth right out of him. Long story short, he broke my heart and I hung up abruptly. I was getting ready to send him a text message when he sent me a long text saying he was only looking for my reaction and that he was making sure if I was still true to him, and that he now wants to develop our relationship. I didn't respond for a day as I was still hurting, but sent him an email afterwards wanting the same thing, but asked him that he must quit his sleazy, bachelor lifestyle. Predictably, he didn't respond. The same goes for my text messages since then. We won't be seeing each other until next year. Too bad, since I won't give him the time or day anymore. He can stay with his cheap hos!

Thank you! :) He made me feel so low many times, seriously, at times I didn't even know my own worth. :( We have to stop stroking these guys egos... if they don't know what they want, we gotta move on to the next one. Also, just like you, I stayed with him for 5 years! FIVE MISERABLE YEARS!
