I have 1 more month at the gym then my gym membership expires and with not having a job and having no luck, I won't be able to renew my gym membership. SO, with that said Im wanna keep workingout, but need some suggestions on how to get the MOST EFFECTIVE workout routine at home? I been really interested in working with a medicine ball or those kettle bells. But looking to do more with my workout routine. What do you suggest?

a pull up / chin up bar,can hang almost anywhere. gets a great bi/ back workout. those little kettle balls ain't cheap, way more expensive than dumbells.

I know those kettle balls are very expensive, maybe instead of that I will go with a hand weights and a medicine ball. Kinda interested in getting a mat/yoga mat, maybe a bar. Just gonna get acouple things. Thanks for the advice.

I have my bike set up on a wind trainer so I can use it like an exercise bike at home.

Also have a yoga mat.

You can do heaps of effective exercises at home using steps for step ups/lunges etc. The womens health magazine website has some great workouts on there that you can download I think there is an "at home" one that doesn't need any equipment and from memory its reasonably challenging.

In fact I might go hunt it out now, i need more at home exercises to do to get back into my pre-pregnancy jeans!

Pilates or yoga. Excellent workout. :) Buy a DVD and you don't need anything else.

I workout at home nowadays, as well.

In addition to buying, you might want to rent DVDs from your library occasionally, to vary/try out new workouts. Sort of change things up now and again.

You can also use a thick towel instead of investing in a yoga mat at first.

Defintely get some dumbells, you can get them relatively cheaply and they are so versatile.

I like your idea about getting a few things at first. You don't want a bunch of stuff you'll never use.

You can definitely get a great workout at home, with very little investment - good luck!
