Waitress Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 How important is emotional intimacy for you? How do you define it? Does emotional intimacy create an atmosphere to fall in love for you? I think being able to cultivate emotional intimacy is being able to be emotionally available. You?
IrishCarBomb Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Hmm... there's emotional intimacy? Ohh, you mean like when I sodomize her when she's been crying? I kidddd... I kiiiiidddd.... And now for something completely different...
A O Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 How important is emotional intimacy for you? Extremely important. I can't be in a relationship without it. How do you define it? To me, it's the ability to share one's inner most thoughts and feelings. One's fears, hopes, dreams, plans, frustrations - you name it. Does emotional intimacy create an atmosphere to fall in love for you? I'm sure its part of the whole process. I think being able to cultivate emotional intimacy is being able to be emotionally available. You?Sounds about right. .
Author Waitress Posted December 10, 2009 Author Posted December 10, 2009 Thanks AO! Do you think emotional intimacy creates attachment/investment or can one be emotionally intimate and remain detached? Sorry for all the questions. It's not about one specific situation just some things I've been mulling.
A O Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 ^ ^ ^ I don't really know. I can be emotionally intimate with friends and family also....maybe that helps you. .
Meaplus3 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 It's very important, and I've come to realize in the past couple of years.. it's something I was struggeling with and did not really know it. I'm working on this. Mea:)

kizik Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 you mean like when I sodomize her when she's been crying? Totes McGoats.
You'reasian Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 (edited) Emotional intimacy is so important in a committed relationship or some fascimile thereof... how do you define it? you can't define it in words yes, it does create an atmosphere for falling in love and for strong bonding - but I'm the kind of guy that won't fall in love unless I know that the girl has other important personal traits. Yes. Emotional intimacy is definitely a sign of being emotionally available. Love, however requires openness, honesty and trust. Edited December 10, 2009 by You'reasian
