Kantor Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Well over the last two weeks many of you have followed my story - Thank you! Today, and last night, I fell on hard times. Began to question whether or not NC was right. I've been doing very good emotionally, and while she still hasn't contacted me, one thing has changed. She has been talking to my friends on facebook. Curse you facebook and the lives you wreck! Haha jk. So should I read into her talking to my friends as anything. My friend told me he brought me up in the convo and she is still holding her ground. Something to the effect of I just don't want that anymore, I don't. So I guess that gave me that breadcrumb of a hope and set me up for a bad day. This sucks, I'm not going to contact her as much as I want to though. Just needed some place to let this out and get some advice.

NopeNah Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 How do you get a breadcrumb out of the statement " I just don't want that anymore, I don't" ? Sounds to me like she's trying to hook up with your friends. Was this a male or female friend of yours?
Ronni_W Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 My friend told me he brought me up in the convo and she is still holding her ground. It was your friend who brought you up, and your ex made it clear that she has not changed her position about you. She just doesn't want "that" anymore. She doesn't. "That" is YOU. "That" is YOUR behaviour, attitude, whatever all turned her off you. She just doesn't want it anymore. You could ask your friend(s) to NOT tell you about their convos with your ex...so that you don't end up with more days like this. Hugs, and good healing.
Author Kantor Posted December 10, 2009 Author Posted December 10, 2009 I guess the breadcrumb I thought was her talking to my friends at all. Your right and I have told them not to mention it to me. It just sucks but it will get better
