The confusion wins out over the I care about you every time. Agreed with the "busy" line too, no one is too busy to send a text message or a quick one line email.

boogieboy Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 basically...all the phrases written in this thread are not only cliches, but also lies to spare the other person from the brutal truth (you are boring and I'd rather chew my own arm off than continue to date you); lies to make the other person feel more special and secure...but lies nonetheless because the honest, brutal truth would hurt too damn much. I refer you to my signature. The lies are to spare the liar from the guilt, not the lie-ees feelings, which is deplorable. And deportable I might add. Liars dont give a shyt about the person they lied to. No one feel more special with when they are lied to. When have you ever been hurt by a brutal truth that you would have rather been lied to about?

And correct me if I'm wrong, but the whole "situation" where a girl has to tell you "lets be friends" or "I like you but..." or some sh*t like that is usually HER fault that it even came to that, not the guys. The reason a woman loses interest and says "lets be friends" is because the guy didnt make moves fast enough, said something to turn her off, too nice, no confidence, theres a number of reasons. if the woman is able to use a guy for his time, and he doesnt realize she is using him for attention, its his fault for letting her. Of course theres women out there that sometimes reel in guys just for the sake of attention, but it only works when the guy lets her do it.

That person should date the other person a little bit to see if attraction develops because, after all, life is not a soap opera. 2. However, by not telling the other person up front that the er, attraction was weak or that they have discovered flaws that aren't that attractive in a mate (after dating said person a bit) they are disgusting game players.

Nobody likes to be put on the spot, but ignoring the issue surely isn't the classiest way to deal with it. The truth sometimes hurts, but at least when you face it, you can deal with it, and anybody deserves at least this much.
