Miko Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 advice. Does anyone ever feel like you have the answer to other people's situations but you can't take your own advice when you need to? Are we blinded to situations that make us feel something when the right course of action would be obvious to onlookers? Why do we do this?
Malenfant Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 advice. Does anyone ever feel like you have the answer to other people's situations but you can't take your own advice when you need to? Are we blinded to situations that make us feel something when the right course of action would be obvious to onlookers? Why do we do this? I think we all know what we should do, but telling someone else what they should do is easy. after all, it doesnt require us to make life changing decisions to offer a bit of advice. Someone says, 'i'm unhappy' we all say 'leave' as if it is that easy. and it is in a way, but turning your life upside down takes a bit more courage than typing a few sentences, so people naturally take a lot longer to build up the courage to actually do something about their situations.
