sweet_peach115 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Whats the shortest time its ever taken you to fall in love with someone? Or to know you could fall in love with a certain person?
MadDriver Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 After having sex with a new partner for the first time.
TheLoneSock Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Whats the shortest time its ever taken you to fall in love with someone? Or to know you could fall in love with a certain person? The time it took me to look, blink, and look again at Adriana Lima. No really, I've only been in honest to god, whole hearted love once, and it took about a month to happen. Lasted 8 months with many ups and downs.
Yukikazi Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I thought to myself "Thats the pussy I'm taking home!!" The moment I saw the kitten in the cage I knew it was love..
pandagirl Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Date #1: Sales Guy who just want to hook up. In his photos he looks pretty cute, in person not so much. Buuuut, not bad looking at all, and actually very nice and gentlemanly, but no chemistry. Well he thought I was super hot and sexy. My own chemistry would have to be supplied by a couple bottles of vodka. Not sure what I'm going to do here. He kissed me twice and told me how soft and delicious I tasted. Basically, he was super horny for me. The end. Date #2: Museum Boy. What a nice, smart, thoughtful, intelligent guy! He complimented me on things that were so sweet, and said how I'm obviously a person with a lot of depth and sincerity. We talked about music, relationships, theories, etc. for hours. It was great. The problem? I'm not attracted to him! ARGH! I'm going to give him another try though. I just can't see myself wanting to do the naked cha-cha-cha with him. DATES STLL TO COME: The Aging Hipster And The Handsome Architect
vanilla87 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Shortest: 2 months... Longest: 5 months...
eiithan Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 It was love at first sight with my ex-bf. Lasted for two years. I guess it is easier to fall in love when we are young, naive, and foolish. Ever since I became more cautious. My current date and I are taking time to see if we are compatible in spite of our growing attachment to each other
DustySaltus Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Whats the shortest time its ever taken you to fall in love with someone? Or to know you could fall in love with a certain person? 90 seconds..............and 10 years later after reconnecting and getting engaged, it ended in 90 seconds, go figure:confused:
JamesM Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 My wife...in about one minute. Having met her before, I guess it wasn't technically that quick, but we met at a convention of kids. I saw her walk down the stairs, and I knew she was who I wanted. We talked, and when I went home, I told a friend that I had met my wife. A week later we had our first date. Almost twenty years later, despite the ups and downs, I still have that feeling. No one ever had that impact on me before or after.
Dark_of_the_Moon Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 A month perhaps....I am not sure when the change took effect, it just happened.
GorillaTheater Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 My wife...in about one minute. Me too. We were 18 and 16, and we met at a beach house the dad of mutual friends was renting. It was very nearly love at first sight (well, on my part, anyways). Just about knocked my socks off. Of course, the bikini she was wearing may have played some small role, too.

And I am guessing that you have that image forever etched in your mind? And yes, I remember what my wife had on and how she looked....all tan and gorgeous in a light blue dress. Not quite as jaw dropping as a bikini, perhaps, but nonetheless, very memorable.

Burned forever in my mind. Dang, it was almost 30 years ago. Time sure has a way of flying. But just thinking about it now sure puts a smile on my face.
Ms. Joolie Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 There have been two times where I've looked into a man's eyes and instantly just feel in love with him. And I do mean really looked, as in a long, deep eye-lock that we had. The first time was in 2006. We ended up having an on/off relationship for three years. I was only 24. Wasn't so ready for being in a relationship with a 36 year old..... So, yeah, just got over THAT one. The second time was this last Tuesday at the Kabbalah center that I frequent. After the class, the instructor was in the bookstore area where I was at, and was right behind me texting or something. So I turned around to ask him a question. And he answered. And we just stared while he talked. It was amazing, exciting... embarrassing! And then I realized that I do love him, just for who he is. I've heard him speak a couple of times now. I do love this person for what he's about and how he speaks and what he does....... it sucks being hot for teacher. lol Whether or not it will turn into anything, I don't know. Dammit. I'll have to behave now. Don't plan to actually do anything about this. Just attend class and admire I guess. ........probably all this means is after my break up I'm ready to start a real relationship this time.
threebyfate Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I fell in love with Batman, after reading the first of the miniseries, Frank Miller's The Darknight Returns. It took about 15 minutes for this to happen and to this day, he still holds a special place in my heart.
northstar1 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Insantly A few years ago Saw Jessica Alba in Into The Blue.... ....... In Love.
whichwayisup Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Whats the shortest time its ever taken you to fall in love with someone? Or to know you could fall in love with a certain person? I knew my H for a while, probably 2 years before I "noticed" him. We worked in the same building. Then one day, something clicked .. He walked by, smiled and said hello..Kept on walking..I caught myself sniffing the air and noticed he smelled really good. Then I would start looking for him throughout the day.. I was hooked!
JamesM Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 .I caught myself sniffing the air and noticed he smelled really good. Then I would start looking for him throughout the day.. I was hooked! Slightly off topic...what was he wearing or was it au naturale? You could get rich telling your story for that cologne. Does he STILL smell good?
shadowplay Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I was in love once, when I was 18...to my boss at the student newspaper. It happened really fast, and I've never had a feeling like that before or after. When we shook hands and he looked in my eyes with a penetrating stare I felt electricity running through my body. My feelings lasted for about 6 years, despite not seeing him for 5 of those. Never been in love again.
doushenka Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 How long 'til I thought I could fall in love? Maybe an evening. How long 'til I knew I had to have him for myself? Two weeks of email. (How long 'til I felt okay with saying the words? Two months, but he was patient and knew I had some problems with trust.)
