(am not talking about the aggressive "I must prove a point" type.) It seems very much like flirting from my side. Do guys generally feel this way as well?

We've known each other casually for a while, have had a bit of an attraction and have recently begun this fun kind of back and forth poking at each other and keeping each other on our toes, which I like as well. I'd kind of like to shake things up a little. Disarm him a bit. Change of pace. Any suggestions?

How quickly do guys need to know they can "get in" before they think the interaction is a waste of time? I've never been a rushing into relationships type of person but it seems I don't move fast enough for guys sometimes.

You end up getting drunk and getting together, or you have a vulnerable moment and they make a move....just my experience. It only progresses when you get beyond the banter and onto genuine friendship, and more importantly, intimacy....I like men a lot for this type of friendship, but they hardly ever take you seriously and see you as 'one of the boys', which is fine...I get the ones I really want, (I know they secretly fancy me though

However, it could be that the guy either isn't interested and considers you one of the boys or is just too shy to make a move. Trust me, I've been oh both sides before when I was younger.
