OWoman Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 OK, so we've established that Tiger Woods isn't top of the pops with OWs, though some posters here and there think he's OK-ish. So, OWs (and others, but this was prompted by the assumption on the other thread that since Tiger Woods had OWs, he must be every OW's fantasy ...) - which of the following MMs, who've been outed in the past as being WHs, would be closest to something you might be able to fancy? * Tiger Woods * David Letterman * Prince Charles of the UK * Bill Clinton * Average Joe that manages the 7-11 down the road Apart from the last one, who's fictional ( before anyone rushes into the 7-11 to rat him out to his W), the others should all be well-known enough to most people for them to be able to make the call, and the last one is a kind of generic enough type - most places have 7-11 or KwikSave or Spar or some such. (I don't want to make it too easy - if there was a "none of the above", probably 100% of OW would opt for that; or an "other, please specify" would have every OW specifying their own MM... which isn't the point, really. I'm aiming for types here, or public figures who can be typified from.)
Lizzie60 Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Not sure if I'm within the 'rules' but my favourite MM was Kobe Bryant... (I fantasized about him when his A was discovered.. gosh I found him HOT!!)
Author OWoman Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 Not sure if I'm within the 'rules' but my favourite MM was Kobe Bryant... (I fantasized about him when his A was discovered.. gosh I found him HOT!!) More guidelines than rules but Kobe Bryant - he's some kind of sportsman, isn't he? That works - I was looking for people that others would recognise, rather than individual MMs no one would ever have heard of... <nips off to google Kobe Bryant, to check him out...>
TaraMaiden Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 gosh, there are so many.... Mel Gibson? Hugh Grant? Albert Einstein? Chico Marx? Brad Pitt? Harrison Ford? Clint Eastwood? Wouldn't it be easier to talk about the 'hot' guys who stayed faithful? Like Paul Newman? (Swoon) (Can't think of anyone else prominent, hot and faithful.....)
Samantha0905 Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Paul Newman and George Strait are my favorites. But they weren't/aren't cheaters to my knowledge. I immediately thought of Hugh Grant, but now that I've been informed Clint Eastwood and Harrison Ford are in the mix -- I may think in that direction, although they are getting a bit long in the tooth. Was Usher married when he cheated? I find him pretty hot. Not that I'm interested in the following two, but don't forget Jack Nicholson and Rudy Giualini (sp?) and Michael Douglas.
Author OWoman Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 gosh, there are so many.... Mel Gibson? Hugh Grant? Albert Einstein? Chico Marx? Brad Pitt? Harrison Ford? Clint Eastwood? Interesting list... so come on, admit it - who's creaming right now for Albert Einstein? Or Chico Marx? Actually... Albert.... that hair! You could use it to keep your hands warm while he went muff diving... though it would be a bit like being eaten by a sheep!

But the mental image left me feeling a little ill. How about MW (or partnered women) Ellen Degeneres Or stunt woman Zoe Bell (if anyone watches quetin tarantino movies, she's the aussie in Death Proof).
Fallen Angel Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Interesting list... so come on, admit it - who's creaming right now for Albert Einstein? Or Chico Marx? Actually... Albert.... that hair! You could use it to keep your hands warm while he went muff diving... though it would be a bit like being eaten by a sheep! Oh my giddy aunt!!! LMFingAOOOOOOOOOOOO! I spit my coffee out of my nose .. damn it woman!! LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Ariadne Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 * Prince Charles of the UK Prince Charles of course!!! He is one of my heroes. I read their book with the love story, it's pretty amazing.
Fallen Angel Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 if we were checking boxes here.. but of that list I would have to go with Bill Clinton. He seems like he could be pretty down to earth, when away from the uptight Hillary. (NO, I am not bashing her as a BW, just her character and what I thought of her LONG before the world knew about Monica.) I bet you get a few drinks in him, throw on some good tunes and kick your feet up on the couch and there would be hours of fun and friendly conversation. (though I admit I am not physically attracted to him, he seems like to me the most fun to sit and just 'be' with.)
mybrowneyedgirl Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 since my xmm is in the public office field... John Edwards. not sure why. he's certainly an a** but hes got something. And Mark Sanford. Saying she was his "soul mate" reading their love letters. Paul Newman? Really? Maybe its my age, but Yuck!
mybrowneyedgirl Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Oh wait. I forgot my most favorite. Matt Lauer. Yummy!
Samantha0905 Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 since my xmm is in the public office field... John Edwards. not sure why. he's certainly an a** but hes got something. And Mark Sanford. Saying she was his "soul mate" reading their love letters. Paul Newman? Really? Maybe its my age, but Yuck! LOL! Yuck on Mark Sanford. Ewwww! I've actually met him in real life. Double EWWWW!! Those emails were like really poorly written Harlequin Romances. He's so into saying "grass roots" and trying to convince people he's tender and understanding. I just didn't buy it. I'd rather have someone just shoot from the hip. Now, his wife was no big thrill either. There's a Barbara Walters special on tonight where she's interviewing the wife -- I think at 10:00 eastern time -- if you want to check it out. John Edwards has hair that looks like he takes it off at night and sets on the nightstand, like a hat. He cheated on his wife while she had cancer. I love Paul Newman. We must have absolutely opposite tastes!!! LOL
Samantha0905 Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Oh -- I will add I do think Matt Lauer is somewhat handsome. That's a nice photo of him. He has a hot body.
TaraMaiden Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) Einstein was ugly - to us. but he had several affairs during his marriage to his long suffering wife.... Chico Marx also played the field prolifically.... his wife caught him kissing a showgirl once, and he protested - "I wasn't kissing her, I was whispering in her mouth"..... So what makes damn ugly men desirable sex objects? Couldn't have anything to do with reputation, success and money, could it? BtW.... Anyone else think Mel Gibson is not ageing gracefully? He looks like a scrotum..... Edited December 9, 2009 by TaraMaiden
Brokenlady Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 actor Ryan Philippe. (actress Reese Witherspoon's cheating xH). Yum!
bentnotbroken Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 BtW.... Anyone else think Mel Gibson is not ageing gracefully? He looks like a scrotum.....:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::sick:
Woggle Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 John Lennon. He cheated on his first wife with Yoko and I am a big Beatles fan. His songs are usually my favorites as well.
Citizen Erased Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 John F. Kennedy comes to mind. Yep, he is my pick.
Spoiled Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I laugh hysterically every time I hear Clinton's quote, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman."
White Flower Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Not sure if I'm within the 'rules' but my favourite MM was Kobe Bryant... (I fantasized about him when his A was discovered.. gosh I found him HOT!!) Then you might envy me because I saw him in a restaurant I was dining at last year.

(though I admit I am not physically attracted to him, he seems like to me the most fun to sit and just 'be' with.) If I had to choose from the original list I would also choose Bill Clinton. He's not terribly handsome, but he's all right. It's his personality that would make it fun as well as his confidence. I once took the Keirsey personality test and mine was compared to that of Bill Clinton's. I'm sure we'd get along just fine. Oh, and the Halloween just after the scandal between him and Monica my exH and I went as the famous APs, cigar and all.
