BookerT Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 On Sat night I went clubbing with two cute female friends. I mean they're just friends, nothing going on. Anyway, we sat down, one girl on either side of me and were laughing and chatting when I saw this really cute girl on the dancefloor, and I also saw that she caught me looking at her. Later I approached her, and flat out told her I couldn't help but notice her and thought she was the prettiest girl in the club and I'll like to get her number. She flat out said "yeah I also couldn't help notice you sandwiched between those two girls over there" But then she gives me her number and we're going out on a date tomorrow night. Now from a distance I probably looked like a player with two girls, or something weird was going on since they were sitting really close to me. Why she give me her number? Wouldn't that make a girl feel worried that I might be a player? Instead my female friends helped me a lot. I don't think I've ever been out with a girl this hot before. Anyway, I know the psychology behind it, if a man is with a woman, other women might wonder what he's got going for himself. My question is, is this thought process conscious like "Oh, this guy is with some cute girls, interesting...........", or it's just a natural feeling of attraction?

Yukikazi Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Not being a girl.. its psychology She saw you with 2 girls.. so you had social proof that you weren't a leper or weirdo that didn't have female friends. So that made you interesting since you obviously had the attention of 2 ladies. You made eye contact with her.. had the confidence to approach her and she saw value in you and seemed to find you worth investing her time in. Congratulations

I know the social proof theory. I was just curious how girls actually feel. Whether it's just a subconscious attraction or they consciously proccess this, because at a conscious level it would logically make me look bad.
