etaoinshrdlu Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I've been seeing this girl for about a month. We're not serious at all. We've just kissed. I thinks she's amazing and I know she likes me too, but I'm not sure the chemistry between us is there. And I don't want her to feel like I'm hung up on her and she'll hurt my feelings, but I also don't want to hurt her feelings and make her think I'm ignoring her or I don't like her. Should I - ignore the uncertainty and just keep going with it until it's obvious one way or the other? - ask her what she's thinking about this whole thing? - just be friend-like to her and drop any romantic overtones? I REALLY want to be her friend at least. I'm not really stressing, but I think she is and I don't want her to be.

Author etaoinshrdlu Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) I must have miscommunicated. I think she's an amazing person and we both *like* each other, but I'm very uncertain that the romantic chemistry is there. It sorta feels like it might not be. And I don't want to lead her on or be led on or force things, because it seems like if it's not meant to be, the more we force things the more difficult it will be to become friends.
