Hi all,

I broke up with my ex about 6 months(ish) ago. I wanted to ask you all a question:

I got an Armani watch from her for my 21st birthday. Its a nice watch, but probably too big for my skinny wrists. I wore it when I was with her, but I don't wear it any more. Partly due to the skinny wrist thing, and partly because...well its a present from her! Would it be immoral for me to sell it? I'm kind of 50/50 about it. I won't be getting back with her, well I presume not, and I would prefer the money seeing as I don't wear it any more. But the other side of me see's this as a bit immoral. She bought me the watch for a special occasion, we didn't end on particularly bad terms, I just feel a bit bad. I can imagine it upsetting her if she ever found out, but that's the thing, why do I care and why would she ever find out?!

I don't know which way to sway :S

Watch problemsss haha

Thanks :)

Once a gift is given, and that person has broken up with you, you can do whatever with it, and don't even give it a second thought. I wouldn't, and I'm a fairly sentimental person

It doesn't fit, and it's a sad momento. Sell it. It's yours to sell.

Use the money to buy yourself a nicer tv, or get something done on your vehicle, or take a road trip with some buddies and/or a new girlfriend.

If she ever does ask for it back, just say "I spent it." :lmao:

Thanks guys, my friends suggested selling it, but I didn't trust their callous hearts. But I think they're probably right. I might buy a little Xmas present for the girl I'm dating, ha!
