cecil brown Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 (edited) Well, finally broke down and called my ex. i missed her and her daughter and just couldnt stop myself. Well, found out she met someone else and that she just cant see a future with me. Sorry, she says.... It hurts, especially because when she initially broke up with me back in mid-September, her reasons were because she didnt want to be in a relationship anymore and she wanted a chance to get her life together and be on her own. If that were true, she wouldnt already be with someone else. I'm in tears all over again, but Im a grown man, this aint my first rodeo, and I should have known better. For those of you thinking about contacting an ex that broke up with you, please learn from my mistake and dont put yourself in this painful situation. Edited December 5, 2009 by cecil brown
fofiffs Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 That excuse about being single for now and getting their life back together again is the most pathetic and overrated excuse dumpers always use. Many of the treads I've read on here all had that statement their ex used on them. I can also say that my ex used that excuse. Why can't they just be honest and say I wanna hook up with someone else and I don't want to be with you. Or there someone else. Seriously I don't get it...lol..
