I’ve been very lucky in my personal Rs in choosing men [that] value their word and personal integrity much more then any temptation of cheating in any situation. Pilots are one of the professions that I think a high % of men cheat on their wives. I’m actually glad when I hear a guy say he’s never cheated. I always think he’s such a good guy for it because it’s so easy to be unfaithful. It does surprises me how many average day people will risk losing everything over nothing. Callously, I must say you are the type of guy I would have tried to go after, to put everything on the line for shallow infatuation. And if I couldn’t tempt you, I really would have thought everything of the world of you for it. :eek:Wow you really do see other people's lives as a game for your pleasure. At first I thought she is really messed up, now I think it is a shame that you are in that frame of mind, that state of living. Not only will others be hurt by your life choices, but it kills a little of your humanity each and every time you make that choice. I am so sorry for whatever lead you down that path.

Did you misunderstand what I posted? I was totally complimenting realworldexplorer and any other guy that honors his vows and remains faithful to his W no matter what. I mean it whole-heartedly when I say I think everything in the world of him for it. Why is that bad?

The fact that the compliment came from the thought of, as you have stated before, going after someone who seems committed just to see if you could get them is what I was referring to. Nothing is bad about your saying think highly of him.
Spark1111 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I find it amazing that all Tiger's handlers sat around and thought money would sweeten the pot for Elin. If Elin was all about money, she would have called HER attorney and renogotiated the pre-nup as soon as she intercepted the first text. But she didn't. She came at him with a golf club like a woman betrayed. She must have really loved him. And as one party girl after the other starts to collect money from the media, or his handlers to tell ALL, or not to tell ALL...I'm pretty sure she's thinking: For those women? You risked it all for those women? I'd stay the two years, not for the money, but because I loved they guy and to see if intensive marriage counseling could help us heal. But then, I'd probably take the 30 mil, divorce and find a really nice guy to help me raise his babies.

No woman marries an athlete who travels all the time and makes 30 mil a year with the expectation of marital fidelity. She would have to be the stupidest person on earth!
angie2443 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Did she marry him before or after he became so rich and famous? She might have really loved him. Just because your rich, doesn't mean that people only want you for your money- at least I don't think so:confused:.

Just because your rich, doesn't mean that people only want you for your money- at least I don't think so:confused:. Clearly she married him after... otherwise there would be no prenup. Right... she might have really loved him... . Look, I'm sure she did. It's easy for a woman to fall in love with a guy who has a couple hundred million. Jennifer Hudson was happy dating a janitor until she got rich. Then he wasn't "ambitious" enough.
Spark1111 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Untouchable, I find this view extremely narrow-minded. He didn't have to ask her to marry him. He didn't have to have two babies with her. And neither did she have to accept his proposal, or start a family with him. So I assume they fell in love. She was a beautiful model and a golfer! There were certainly many men interested in Elin. So if someone is rich, or famous, or talented, whether they be male or female, you should only enter into marriage with that person with the assumption they will cheat on you? And you should not only expect it, but allow it? For monetary compensation?

Um, she was a Swedish supermodel. I doubt very much that she needed his money. The official count is now 9 mistresses.
angie2443 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Right... she might have really loved him... . . Maybe you don't find Tiger attractive. I do find him attractive and can certainly see why someone might fall in love with him besides his money and fame. For the record, I find many rich and/or famous men ugly as heck. I find many average income men attractive. Not everything has to do with money. In the end, only she knows why she married him. We can only guess.
Impudent Oyster Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 No woman marries an athlete who travels all the time and makes 30 mil a year with the expectation of marital fidelity. She would have to be the stupidest person on earth! I don't agree with this. Naive maybe, but not stupid. No woman gets married expecting her husband to cheat, Tiger is wealthy and well-known, but Elin Woods is stunning and could have married anyone. Look at Paul McCartney, he was wealthier and more attractive to women than Tiger Woods (IMO), and it's believed that he was completely faithful to his wife Linda.
Angel1111 Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I have no comment about Tiger but I just wanted to say that the title of this thread cracks me up. Very clever.
