Pentel Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 my ex says she wants to get back together with me, but she says that she is afraid that we hurt each other more, and that almost all of her friends are telling her that she shouldn't get back together with me, i talked today to a mutual friend, and he says she always tells him she still loves me, and that she wants to try to get back with me, but that she's afraid that i will still be very jealous,

If you are able to address that to yourself and later with her, that should not be a reason to cause anymore for hurting one another. First you might want to figure out that yourself and then have a chat withe her and address it. Not being able to trust one another can cause a lot of discomfort and lessens happiness within a relationship. Good luck. x

Give her time to make up her mind what she wants; To get back with you or listen to what 'everyone' says and move on... confused&lost Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I think everyone deserves a second chance. If you guys get back together you have to make a conscious effort to not get jealous. When my ex-boyfriend told me things that bothered him, I wrote them on my mirror as something to look at daily and would be a reminder of things I need to work on. You have to try hard and keep telling yourself the drama is not worth it. It helps so much!! Trust me. The only reason I'm not with my boyfriend anymore is because we we're in a long distance relationship that neither of us liked and just wanted to be around each other. So making the effort to change is worth it. I know it. It's just really difficult, but you'll really like the changes you see in yourself and how others respond to you.
