The plan is to find a couple that has faced and overcome a series of profound obstacles (financial problems, sickness, infidelity, addiction, PTSD, car accident, etc. etc.), and emerged from the struggle stronger, wiser, and more devoted to each other than ever before. The more dramatic the story, naturally, the better.
