USMCHokie Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 i really want to do NC, but i don't want to forget her, i'd really like that someday we could try it again Don't worry, you won't forget her...I think there's a subtle difference between forgetting someone and moving on...she'll always be with you, but you'll eventually realize and accept that life does go on...and you really have to live life free from her...and free from thoughts of her...to truly appreciate what she meant to you in her life, and she has to do the same to appreciate what she lost... It's funny how people do cross paths later on in life...you never know...I mean, I first met my ex in sophomore year of college, but we never really talked...she transferred at the end of that year...we somehow met back up about 7 years later...and that's when we had started dating...then it ended...and now here I am...broken and lost...so who knows, maybe another 7 years...? Or maybe I'll meet someone new that's even better...? The point is, you don't know what life has in store for you...so just have fun, go along for the ride, and hang on...

I could never forget her as she is a part of me. The best part I think. I don't want to forget her. My memories are all I've got.
