Boundary Problem Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 she got a hotel room with this guy Well. It is possible they wanted to have a private business lunch and were discussing confidential information - and so had a catered lunch in a hotel room. But I supposed it is a long shot. But you can confirm by looking at the hotel receipt. Chances are if someone was going to cheat they wouldn't pick the neighbour. Maybe the neighbour is just an innocent friendship. I think there is more to this story than we have heard.
hopesndreams Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Innocent friendship. Hotel room. This does not compute.
Boundary Problem Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Innocent friendship. Hotel room. This does not compute. Hotel rooms aren't just for sex. They also offer privacy. Sometimes people just want a private discussion. It is awkward speaking in restaurants sometimes where the tables are so close together. I think if she genuinely was going to cheat she wouldn't have picked the guy next door. Women are far more devious when they set their mind to it. Never that obvious.
hopesndreams Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Sometimes it can be just as plain as the nose on your face. Just saying.
Boundary Problem Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Sometimes it can be just as plain as the nose on your face. Just saying. Yeah. The optics are terrible. Just trying to give her a defence. There are always two sides to every story. And we only ever hear one side on LS. But honestly - the neighbour???? Tacky.
hopesndreams Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 There is only one side when it comes down to the crunch. There is no side when one does the unthinkable, as in, ahem, boinking someone outside the M. It's inexcusable. Honestly, you get a hotel room not for the ambience, not for the catering, not for private discussion...let's get real.
Boundary Problem Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Honestly, you get a hotel room not for the ambience, not for the catering, not for private discussion...let's get real. You make me laugh. Some have really good indoor waterslides - we're talking 3 storey ones. Maybe they were going for a swim.
hopesndreams Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Yeah, I'm sure someone got wet. Pass the towel please.
Boundary Problem Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 That's what it was. They went for a hottub. Very relaxing when you have sore muscles. Being a mom can be very tiring. By the way - I'm just fooling around - so I hope I'm not insensitively hurting anyone's feelings. Cheating is a betrayl, but sometimes we need a break from being so serious all the time.
hopesndreams Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 CK and the W can comfortably read this from their sofa, if it's a shared laptop. One may find certain parts funny and if the other doesn't..they can be filled in.
Author ck1 Posted December 2, 2009 Author Posted December 2, 2009 She lied again....caught with the other guy. Its over. Proof that your gut instinct is always right. Should have divorced months ago. Truly the worst experience another human being can ever go through. Thanks for your advice and words of encouragement.

I know this pain so well and still feel it to some extent. Please look into getting some therapy to get you through this trauma. Your wife is not well and you cannot take responsibility for that. hug

Truly the worst experience another human being can ever go through. Thanks for your advice and words of encouragement. Focus on the practicalities right now, don't let her screw you physically, emotionally or financially any more. There'll be time for the grieving later. What an utter, utter b1tch.
mark982 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 i'm sure you, and your brother officers know how to make this guys life hell.
Bobby2010 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 She lied again....caught with the other guy. In what regard? Maybe she was ending things with him?
lkjh Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Im sorry you are going through this but one day it will get better
Bryanp Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I am so sorry for what you are going through. She seems like an habitual liar. It is time to move on. There really were no consequences to her actions and I am sure she believed that you would continually forgive her time after time. Nobody deserves what she is putting you through. See an attorney and move on to a better life. If you do not respect yourself then who will?
Dexter Morgan Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Chances are if someone was going to cheat they wouldn't pick the neighbour. Maybe the neighbour is just an innocent friendship. you hear stories all the time about affairs started up with neighbors. very convenient.
Dexter Morgan Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Hotel rooms aren't just for sex. They also offer privacy. you don't get a hotel room for just privacy. You can sit in a car for that. Reason for a hotel room for privacy? there is a bed there.

Truly the worst experience another human being can ever go through. Thanks for your advice and words of encouragement. I have a feeling CK1 has left the building. But if not let me offer you this little prayer I learned from a infedelity web page: The Serenity Prayer: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. CK1 - Hope your new path leads you to happiness. Best Regards...
