Should I meet him?

So my ex and I worked on something together before the breakup, and I need a copy of the files.

 

I asked for them by email and got a text message a while from him saying he would put the files on a disk and drop it over to my house.

 

he is insisting he wants to meet me to give me the disk.

I told him that to save akwardness he could email the files to me, or post the disk, or pass it through a mutual friend, or drop it off at my house when im not there, but he is insisting he'll give it to me in person.

 

He has told me he doesnt want me, doesnt want a future with me, doesnt love me anymore etc, but wants us to stay in touch, misses me when we're NC and wants me as a friend.

 

He knows that I still love him.

 

Should I meet him? Tell me what to do!

Do what feels right. If you don't think it's right to meet him, then don't. If you do, then meet him. Go with your gut. Only you know whether you're ready or not.

This is complete crap and do not settle for it. Send a friend to get the files and tell him you want no part of his half-ass offers of friendship and keeping in touch. He may want you as a friend, but that is not what you want so too bad for him!

if you still love him then you can't be friends until you are fully over him. get him to post the disk or get a 3rd party to get it. I bumped into my ex after 5 months of NC and for a week she was back in my mind again. Don't set yourself back. it is over and nothing will change if you meet him apart from you hurting more.
