angie2443 Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 We don't have classes nearby, so I get DVD's to work out with. My favorite is Asharah's Modern Tribal. I need to double check to make sure I have the title right. There are so many DVD's out that teach bellydancing and you can preview most of them by going to youtube. It's a really fun way to work out. That bieng said, running is still the best for weight loss and a good cardiovascular workout.

The important thing is to exercise.
laRubiaBonita Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 i took belly dancing- it was fun..... but i would have an hour and a hlaf to kill after work before my class and i found if i have a few drinks before class i was waaaay better than if i was just dancing sober..... it losened me up and probably negated all the health benefits!
