A contagious cold (maybe swine flu, no its not that bad...possible Guinea pig pox?) continues to conflict with my cheerfulness while the beat-up pick-up truck is stuck in 2nd gear, literally. While the heartbreak inspired weight lifting has made me strong enough to man handle the shifter, the the mashing of metal from the grinding of gears is grating my psychic.

So why am I rambling here? Glad you asked. These little laughs from God is one of those snowflakes that garners speed to shifty swell into a snowball of mental destruction. Then look out happy village below.

And that is the point (I think) I just want to be cozy in my little cottage of proverbial contentment with the fire place cracking the coolness of the air and offering an semblance of calming comfort. To be able to look over to the dog, the cats, and (if I going to dream may as well dream big) that someone of substance and believe, at least for a while, that everything is going to be alright.

Is it too much to ask "just one thing at at time?".

Days like this makes me think I am trying to replace the dregs of the distant break-up with a good old fashion breakdown (ok a bit overstating...blame it on the Guinea pig pox) Yes this too shell pass.

Ahhh... days like this remind you that you are human. And if it weren't for days like this, how could you possibly relate to us and give us your insights, GC???

Humanity is a condition to be cured. An obstacle to overcome. Not a weapon to master.

Clouds, dude, I honestly think you need to get a few buddies together and go out for some drinks and poker. If the ogling of hot bartenders doesn't cheer you up, the good company will.
