One reason i do not date is the fact that the girl will most likley cheat. Look at all these threads...thinking you're SO is the "one" and they end up cheating. Or over the internet ect.

 

What like 60% of relationships have some type of cheating in them? How do you deal with it? Anyone like me and just not date due to this fact?

 

Bet you half the people on here in R's are being cheated on and don't even know it.

 

I handle by not letting negativity like this influence me. Not everyone cheats in this world.

 

Look at these threads? This is a relationship forum! Most people are here to deal with relationship issues. That is why you see so many threads with cheating.:rolleyes:

Btw, where did you get that 60% statistic for relationship failure due to cheating? I'm throwing down the b/s card.

 

The odds of dying from heart disease over a lifetime is 1 in 4. Might as well slit your wrists right now, just in case...

i think enough people have told you that your generalization is ridiculous but maybe you should get over the one who hurt you then get back out there you still sound so bitter

So maybe a relationship isn't for you Brady.... just date around and don't get attached to any one woman if you truly feel this way.

 

The reality is that NOT all women cheat, you just have to find the right one and treat her well. Give and take.

Wow Woggle, you REALLY feel this way?? Considering you are married and at worst seem to be guarded but not abused or cheated on or unhappy with her, I do NOT understand this statement at all.

Although I don't agree that everyone cheats, I can't disagree with your concern. I think the percentages are pretty high especially with all that is available online. I think it has jaded so many people to what love really means.

 

How do I handle it? Hmmm? LOL. If I even sense a physical affair, I cash in my chips and move on. If it is an emotional affair, I bring it to his attention, and let him know where I stand. Then I give it time to see if he is going to change things or just try to hide it from me. If I find out he is sneaking and/or hiding communication with an EA; it destroys trust, and I will leave the relationship....period!

 

If I am not enough for him, then he is free to find someone who is and I will do the same. Life is too short for this sort of BS! Sometimes love is not enough, it takes moral integrity to see it through.
