When you first talk to her, you should get her to like you and be comfortable enough to get her number at a first meeting. Talk about anything interesting, make her laugh, dont ask her any personal info until she asks you. Maybe even talk about someplace you like to go and see if she says "I like that place" or something like that. Then you know she might be open to going with you. But you dont bring that up afterward yet... You get her number, then call her the next day, or day after, and continue talking where you left off. Only for at most 5 minutes before suggesting going out for COFFEE. Movies and such is too much pressure for a young girl to spend that much time with you the first time without knowing that you will have fun. After you suggest coffee you talk to her for 5 more minutes so she doesnt feel like you just called to ask her out. You have to move fast otherwise someone else will take your place...and once a woman writes you off for being too slow, you will never get her back.
