moosegreen Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 ya so latey iv just be spending time with what i thoght was the one for me...but thats not so...at all... not a big fan of her....anyway i stoped hang out with my buddys just to be with her and now that im not seeing her anymore im having a hard time hookin up with them and makin other friends...i just feel like iv got no one to call up on and hang out with....and im never called on to do stuff with...and its depressing to think about...and i dont ever think about stuped stuff like this...its just not who i am...can anyone relate and or gone throgh this???

Of course you're not...you've been ignoring your friends to spend time with this girl...so now that she's gone, you're going to have to take a proactive approach to rebuilding your social network...even if it means starting out with one friend and going from there...you have to learn to make friends from friends...and you have to start by making the first call... You can also join activity groups, intramural sports, or anything that gets you into a new environment where you can comfortably meet people who share your interests. But lesson learned...next time you meet a girl, you need to maintain the balance in your life...make time to maintain your own circle of friends...
McGrupp Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 when i got dumped i had to start chilling with a lot of old buddies i havent seen in forever. at first it was depressing because they werent her. eventually though i realized they loved me and wanted to see me all those years i had just left them by the wayside. so...go out and be yourself and well, idk...im a friendly dude, never had this problem

I neglected all my high school and college friends all the people my age to be with her. The only friends I didnt neglect where my neighborhood friends which are younger than me and cant really go out and do stuff that i can. Now that shes gone im stuck at home this friday night cuz i really couldnt find anything worthwhile doing. At least though im saving myself some money

At least though im saving myself some money In a way its good just chillen at home cuz you do save alot of money instead of spending it on one night of having a good time. I actually got used to it. Weekends don't even bother me anymore. Friends still do ask me to go out but I would rather stay home and just chill. Also found me a new hobby. I find myself spending more time at the track racing my motorcycle. Instead of wasting all that money on booze I spend it on something I can actually use or do. I also actually made some good friends on here that became my NC buddy. It really helped out.

You know what also got me through those lonely nights the first few months Call of Duty..lol..ain't no better way to take out the stress and anger than putting a few bullets through another players face..lol I actually got so hooked on it that I didnt even want to go out with friends or even think about going out..
