phineas Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I've nothing against guys wearing that. My own bf wears tees and shorts out sometimes - but he has nothing against me wearing whatever I darn well want, either. It's just the guys who wear that, and expect women to dress much better than that, who annoy me. I just don't like it when women dress like hippies. I dated a girl that was just out there. Sometimes she looked like she grabbed her grandma's curtains off the wall & wrapped herself in that.
Ody Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 It's just the guys who wear that, and expect women to dress much better than that, who annoy me. What about men who dress well? Can they legitmately have higher expectations?
Els Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Yes, that's a personal thing and everyone's entitled to their own opinions. It's just the hypocrites that get to me.
jerseyboy Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Why does dressing conservatively to men mean wearing baggy tshirts and flip flops? That is not what dressing conservatively means. It just means wearing clothes don't look like they have been painted on you. Clothes that dont show any cleavage, any hips, ass, or anything. Men don't even look at you in nice conservative clothes. It's really sad. Its what youre communicating thats different Dressing up that way says "pay attention to me" and they assume you are more likely to welcome advances Also you likely act differently as well. Which is natural as moods do tend to be attached to what we wear. I feel way different in a business suit speaking with people than I do in jeans and a t shirt. Not to suggest there isnt added interest via enticement as well Im a face person though in terms of initial attraction
