lofi_tokyo Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 I have put up a few posts where I have been pining over a ONS that nearly turned into a relationship, but never panned out. I finally went on a date with the guy. He's super nice, good-looking, tall, athletic, and I FEEL like we should have a ton of stuff in common, but we don't, at least not that I can tell. He suggested we go on a second date, and I'm interested in the idea, but also kind of wary - if we have nothing in common after the first date, can things change? The sexual chemistry is definately there. lol
SoulSearch_CO Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Eh. What can it hurt? I say give it a shot.
TheLoneSock Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 And even if it doesn't work out, you can always end the evening with more amazing sex. Life is good. Just don't think too much.

You'll have to find it in another person. Until then though, just have fun, live your life and keep your eyes open.
jerseyboy Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Allso first dates can be a tough venue to get a read on the other person. A lot of them are shy , wary about being judged etc. Or he may just actually be dull lol

A lot of them are shy , wary about being judged etc. Or he may just actually be dull lol I guess my big problem is I'm not sure exactly how first dates are supposed to go... I don't go on them often! So I can't tell if a really simple date with decent conversation is good or not. Is there supposed to be an instant spark? I really don't know.
dark1san Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Just be relaxed, you'll know if you like him or not, my fiance said when she met me for our first date she really liked me, just everything about me, she just wasn't sure how I felt about her, I laughed because I felt the same way.
