Alica Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I have been married for the last 7 years but had an affiar off & on for 3 years my lover lived an other state so when he would come we would see eachother!!!! Other then that we talked on the phone..... Recently we were busted so we stoped talking to each other hes living with his girlfriend and im with my husband we see eachother off & on and give each other "the look"i think about him all the time sleep thinking about him wake up thinking about him wishing i bump into him today ? I have heard that he has asked for me and at times pass's by my house i dont know what to do i think i would be with him if i had the chance but i dont want to hurt my husband again but how can i not feel like this ?

Normally they die out in a couple of years. Thanks to the break, the addiction can lastseven longer. If you want to aggravate it, have a trigger memory of OM. Sorry girl, the cure for this addiction is NC forever.

I have heard that he has asked for me and at times pass's by my house i dont know what to do i think i would be with him if i had the chance but i dont want to hurt my husband again but how can i not feel like this ? get a divorce and set your husband free from you so he can pursue his life and find a decent woman. because it doesn't matter how you feel...bottom line is, you are the type of person that WILL cheat on him again. if not with this guy, then with another. set him free from you...get a divorce, then you can boff whoever you want without worrying about whether you are hurting a husband at home.
seibert253 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 You have 2 options: 1. Go totally NC with the OM (this is the only way you will get over him. If you don't get over him, your marriage is a sham and you are fooling yourself) 2. If you don't want to give up the OM and give your marriage 100%, divorce you husband. He deserves a wife who is 100% committed to the marriage. If you cannot give this, move on and set him free.
