So, I have a lunch date with drummer boy tomorrow! My first date in -- wait for it -- TWO AND A HALF YEARS!!! Sheesh. Took me long enough to have a crush on someone again! But I REALLY have a crush! :)

Heh, we're chatting on facebook and he said "I like your energy a lot and I'm looking forward to hanging out with you." Damn this boy is cute and smart and talented! (And, for those of you who know my history, MUCH better looking than the bass player!) This is saying he's into me as more than friends, yes? Would you take it that way?

For anyone reading this who thinks they'll never get over their ex, take comfort in the fact that I thought I'd die still loving bassf*cker. It took two LONG years of crying over him almost every day. And I don't think I'll ever NOT love him, but I can move on and date others, and actually like them. Victory!

Now, what should I wear?!? :)

I don't mean to be a pessimist, but are you sure it's a date date? I've been wrong before.

Well...I don't know. Now that you question it, maybe it's not. :(

It's hard for me to have confidence about these things. Maybe mine was unwarranted. Sigh.

Sorry, I don't mean to get you down. I just don't want you to get really disappointed if it's not (I've been there).

Give more details on how he asked you out exactly...what he said, etc.

Never mind. I feel stupid now. Thanks for bringing me back down to earth.

Ugh, no you don't have to get all down. Just tell me what he said exactly. The reason I asked is your post gave no details.

Sedg -- I hope you're OK. I'm sorry if I made you feel bad; I just don't want you to crash if you're wrong. I have no clue whether it's a date or not without knowing more.
